On Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at approximately 5:00 a.m., the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force (SNTF-Southwest Office) assisted by State Police Gangs Unit (SUVCCCTF), the SNTF-Northwest Office, and the Bridgeport Police Department, executed a search warrant at 129 Huntington Road, New Haven. This was based on an investigation that developed information that Miguel Vazquez (D.O.B: 07-05-1969), was supplying multiple Bridgeport narcotics dealers with large quantities of Heroin.
As a result of the search warrants detectives seized the following contraband: approximately $303,827.00 in US Currency, approximately $22,000.00 in US bank held assets, approximately $1,208.34 in Mexican Currency, approximately 4.5 “bricks” of pressed Heroin, approximately 2,040 folds of packaged heroin, approximately 28 baggies of heroin for a total of 2.9 Kilos of Heroin, 15 grams of Marijuana, and drug packaging materials, a stolen 9mm Handgun loaded with ammo, and a 2013 Honda CRV.
Vazquez who is a convicted felon was transported to Troop G for booking on weapons and narcotics charges.
