Recently local business owners have reported visits from someone who claims to work for the Small Business Administration (SBA). The person says they are following up on the PPP loan the business received and they ask for documents such as bank statements, etc. The SBA is not conducting site visits and these people are fraudsters. If you or someone you know has a similar experience, do not give over any sensitive information, and report it to the authorities, and your bank immediately.
