3 Arrested For Drugs During Motor Vehicle Stop in Rental Car

On 08/08/2019 at approximately 2358 hours, members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force and Putnam Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 2018 Toyota Yaris rental vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. The vehicle was found to be occupied by three people. The driver, 31 year old Kenneth Bingell of Thompson, a front seat passenger, 30 year old Katey Labbe of Webster, MA, and a back seat passenger, 26 year old Anthony Falzone of Putnam. While speaking with the vehicle occupants, police personnel observed indicators of narcotics activity. As a result of an investigation by Troopers and Putnam Officers, several zip lock bags of fentanyl and plastic bags containing crack cocaine were located and seized. Additionally, while searching the vehicle, packaging materials and a digital scale with residue were located. As a result Bingell, Falzone, and Labbe were taken into custody and were charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with intent to sell, and Operating a Drug Factory. Falzone was released on a $15,000 dollar non surety bond and will appear at GA 11 Danielson on 08/21/19. Bingell and Labbe were held on $50,000 dollar surety bonds and are to appear at GA Danielson on 08/09/19.
