17 Year Old Juvenile is a Suspect in Uncasville Home Invasion

On Sunday, January 14, 2018, just after 9:00 pm, Police were dispatched to 52 Pequot Rd, Apt 3-B in Uncasville for a report by a neighbor that could hear a disturbance happening in the mentioned apartment, that one person was threatening to stab another. Investigation showed that a 17 year old male had entered the private residence through the front door which was unlocked and proceeded to hold a knife to the neck area of the occupant of the apartment, 20 year old Tyler Radics. After a brief struggle, the unidentified 17 year old male took $15 from a television stand and left. It was also discovered that Radics and the suspect knew each other. On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, an arrest warrant for the minor suspect was issued who then turned himself in to his probation officer. The suspect was arrested and charged with Home Invasion, 1st Degree Burglary, 2nd Degree Threatening, 3rd Degree Assault, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon as well as others. The suspect is scheduled to appear in juvenile court on an undisclosed date.
